Brunswick stew is a Southern tradition that hits the spot when temperatures begin to cool.

Ingredients
  • 5 Cups of cooked chicken
  • 1 Can (14½ ounces) cream style corn
  • 1 Can (14½ ounces) tomato, okra, corn mixture
  • 1 Can (14½ ounces) cut okra (drained)
  • 1 Can (14½ ounces) petite diced tomatoes
  • 1½ Cups of ketchup
  • ¼ Cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Lawry's Garlic Salt
  • 3 (3½ ounces) Jars of cocktail onions (or ¼ cup of chopped onions)
  • 2 Cups Chicken stock
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir well and cook on low for 2 hours. It can be cooked longer, if desired.
